Future Cruise Plans and Goals:
Waiting for cruises to start up again!

A special note about flying to a cruise:

Never fly to your cruise port on the day your ship is to set sail!!!  Those that do often miss their cruises due to weather problems, or plane mechanical problems or security issues... whatever.  You are only putting your entire cruise in jeopardy by flying to your embarkation port on the day the cruise starts.  Do yourself a favor... fly to your embarkation port city the day before (two days before if overseas!) your cruise.  This way, you can enjoy an extra day's vacation while knowing that you are safely in town for your cruise the day before.  Also, if your luggage gets lost, the airline has a day to get it to you before the cruise.  If it's a big time difference between your home town and the embarkation town, you have time to get over jet-lag as well.  Unless you are within three hours of driving time to your embarkation port, always get there at least one day ahead!
